About Sue

Sue Dubach grew up in a small, midwestern town, where she baked special treats for her Dad, Tata. Over the years, she refined her natural cooking skills in restaurants in the midwest and Colorado.

Sue has lived in the Boulder area for 20 years, and has managed, designed training programs for, and created the daily specials menus for several local restaurants.

Fresh Ingredients

A full-time caterer since 1990, Sue still makes time to teach cooking classes at the Cooking School of the Rockies and Share Our Strength (a division of the National Food Share program). Click on classes for more information.

Sue now resides in Louisville with her husband, Neal, her daughter, Emma, and son, Jesse. She loves Louisville's small town atmosphere and makes a point of supporting the local economy, frequenting businesses like the Louisville Farmers Market and Joe's Italian Market because she knows that the freshest ingredients are grown and produced locally.

Sue is actively involved in her children's education in the local public schools, where she teaches cooking classes on a volunteer basis. Students and teachers alike get excited when it's Sue's turn to bring snacks to school.

When she's not cooking or caring for her family, Sue enjoys cross-country skiing, an hour in the hot tub, and a good mystery novel that also involves food, such as Diane Mott Davidson's Dying for Chocolate.
